Fancy a bit of exercise today? What about crossing the South Ardeche on the Via Ardeche soft path? From Saint-Paul-le-Jeune, the gateway, the soft path stretches over nearly 60 km of dedicated or sometimes shared path (adapted signposting).

Start out from Saint-Paul-le-Jeune, and the tone is set! Entering into the automatically lit 700m tunnel lets you imagine the rest. With five tunnels and an impressively high viaduct, this stretch of the soft path is anything but monotonous! It connects woodland, scrubland and cultivated plains, and you’ll find a wide variety of plants and animals.

Description

P – Go left and join Rue Louis Roux. The soft path begins on your right in the tunnel. Follow the path for 7km, then turn right.

After 3km of road, take the first path on your right.
After 2.2km, turn left then go straight on.
At the next crossroads, go right, then at the following crossroads, go left (km 14). Then continue straight on.
Return to Saint-Paul-le-Jeune by the same route.
